cPanel Migration

Requirements

  • cPanel is fully installed on the new host it is migrating to
  • Must be able to connect via SSH from the new host to the old host
  • Decide on whether you want to migrate ALL accounts or just ONE

Migrate One Account

  1. WHM Home -> Transfers -> Copy an Account From Another Server
  2. Fill in the input boxes with the required information
  3. Click "Transfer Account" button at the bottom and monitor for errors

Migrate Multiple Accounts

  1. WHM Home -> Transfers -> Copy Multiple Accounts/Packages From Another Server
  2. Fill in the input boxes with the required information.
    Note: Make sure to select the "root" radio button in the Authentication selection
  3. Click "Fetch Account List"
  4. Select the accounts you want to migrate
  5. Monitor the migration for any possible errors

Finishing Tasks

  1. WHM Home -> Transfers -> Review Copied Accounts
  2. Review this to ensure everything has completed successfully
